Josh Jasper, MSW, CEO/President:

Josh is a sexual assault and domestic violence advocate with experience working throughout the country with private, public, religious and secular colleges and universities; residential treatment centers for teenage boys and girls; gang interventions; individuals with HIV/AIDS, and the homeless. Josh has also been a keynote speaker at conferences for law enforcement, social service providers, nurses, therapists and sexual and domestic violence professionals.

He has presented all over the country on a variety of violence prevention education topics including, but not limited to, Coaching Boys Into Men and a partner program he developed called Coaching Girls into Women, making violence against women a man’s issue, working with male survivors of violence, living in a rape culture, recognizing the connection between substance abuse and violence, and the Mentors in Violence Prevention program (MVP), which he has presented to branches of the military and colleges in conjunction with Jackson Katz. 

After graduating with a Master’s degree in social work from UCLA, Josh worked with the Los Angeles Police Department in the domestic violence unit and has worked as a mental health therapist. Prior to working in Los Angeles, he served four years in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to his position with Riverview Center, he is an Adjunct Professor at Clarke University.
