Mission

The mission of E.N.D.-I.T. is to create a community free of violence by involving the entire community.

Goal

Implement a regional Training-of-Trainers program that empowers communities to engage men in the movement to end men’s violence against women.

 
Objectives

At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to:

• Build community capacity for engaging men as allies and agents of change.
• Identify and engage untapped partners in the community to broaden spheres of influence in working to end men’s violence against women;
• Facilitate dialogue with well-meaning men on issues related to partnering with women and encourage the use of privilege with integrity; and
• Strategize a coordinated community plan of action to end men’s violence against women.

The group meets every 4th Wednesday of the month at Dubuque office of Riverview Center at 7:30am.  Anyone interested can contact me directly via my galena phone or my e-mail or simply show up at the meeting.
