Microsoft Word suddenly asking
Sat down this morning to finish a document I started last week and Word suddenly asked for activation. That threw me off because I’ve used Office on this laptop for years and never saw that before. I didn’t install anything or change accounts. Just opened the file and got stuck on that screen instead.

Write code for work, so I’m kind of used to programs doing random stuff for no clear reason. When Word showed an activation screen, the first thing I thought was that I’d seen this before, kms activator crossed my mind only because I tried it once a long time ago and it worked back then. This time I didn’t really want to dig into why it happened, I just needed Word to open normally. After that, the activation message was gone again and I didn’t think much about it.
